Tonight is game 5. Our beloved Canucks are losing the series 3-1. They haven't played bad (except game 1) but have been on the short end of the stick.
So what you thinking?
Canucks come back and win the series in 7?
Get to game 7 and lose?
Get to game 6 and lose at home?
Get eliminated tonight in Anahiem in game 5?
They will either look like one of these two pictures.
Losing the series?
OR
Winning the series?
I think the Canucks DO in Game 5 and DIE in game 6. My buddy Jacob says they lose in Game 7.

The Canucks had no business winning game 5, really. It was all Luongo. Again.
Trev, in the last post you said "The twins hasn't been incredible but I think they have been okay." I suppose I can give you that. But when your top line is only "ok", you're not going anywhere in the playoffs. Again, when your top guns are not scoring, they have to bring something else to the table, and the Sedins just didn't do that.
They need to spend SERIOUS time bulking up over the summer so that they can be halfway effective this time of year. That, or at least get in good enough shape so that it doesn't look like they smoke 2 packs a day when they try and backcheck. Both looked terribly slow in this series, and when they didn't create their own space, they didn't get any.
In the end, here are the top 10 players salary wise for the Canucks:
Luongo
Naslund
Daniel Sedin
Henrik Sedin
Ohlund
Mitchell
Morrison
Sopel
Kesler
Smolinski
I'd give passing grades to Luongo, Mitchell, maaaybe Ohlund, and a nod to Naslund. Giving the last 2 half grades, that's 3/10. The rest looked horribly out of place. Trevor Linden was by far their best skater - that pretty much says it all - Nonis has some work to do this summer.
I've heard a lot of people say that the Canucks need to look for secondary scoring for next year. I'd say they're wrong - the Canucks need to look for PRIMARY scoring. Yes, the Sedins got lots of points in the regular season. But when they don't produce at playoff time, that means a grand total of jack squat. For those that disagree - would you rather compete for the President's Trophy or the Stanley Cup?
I'm going to get on the soapbox a little here. Call me xenophobic, but here it is.
Look at Vancouver's young "up and comers" - Burrows, Santala, Edler, Krajicek, Kesler, Rypien. Small pests. Heavy European emphasis. Look at Anaheim's list - Perry, Getzlaf, Penner, Kunitz, Moen. All difference makers. All pretty good sized. All...... "good Canadian kids".
Anaheim's kids basically kicked the snot out of Vancouver's. They busted out, scored big goals, got in the face of the Canucks - they played playoff hockey. The Canucks? Krajicek played fine. The rest had zero positive impact.
In the end, Nonis has to create a playoff ready team. Ditch Sopel for a bag of moldy socks. Get a high draft pick for Morrison, or a good offensive prospect. Keep Bulis - he's better than he showed this year. Let Smolinski walk - his lazy butt is of no help, despite his talent. Kesler at $2 million doesn't make sense.
While the Canucks made headway this year that no one expected, it comes with a bit of an asterix. Roberto Luongo is a Hart trophy nominee for a very good reason - he carried the team to where they are.
